Cooking With A Southern Soul

Creative classes for kids ages 11-16 teaching cooking techniques combined with life skills in a fun, friendly environment!  With a hands-on approach, students will prepare 4 different theme menus that teach recipe and food preparation, while learning to explore new flavors and ingredients.  Students will also have fun learning food nutrition, manners & table settings, plus a little math and food chemistry!  To finish off each class, everyone gets to enjoy the fruits of their labor by sharing a meal at “The Family Table.”

With kids in the kitchen, there will be fun, laughter and something interesting will happen, guaranteed.  I promise that each student will learn about cooking, creativity with food and how to share & work with others.  Along with this, my goal is that each student will learn something new, positive and empowering about themselves.  So….let’s get Cooking With A Southern Soul!
