Four all-star recipes that making getting supper on the table easy. With a little meal prep and a little grilling, your loved ones will singing your praises! midweek menu with grilled flank steak, salad, baked beans and cookies from a southern soul

Warm weather is here and that means it’s time to fire up the grill. This week, I’ve pulled together a great menu with all four dishes being prepped or made ahead of time. Here’s how to pull it all together ~

Grilled Flank Steak – Make the marinate for the flank steak. Place the meat in a zip top bag, pour the marinade over and seal. Place the bag in a shallow dish and store in fridge overnight. Remove from fridge 30 minutes prior to grilling.

BEST Baked Beans – You’ve got two options for preparing these mighty good beans. This first method is my pic. Prep everything in your baking dish and store in the refrigerator until ready to bake. You could also make the bean, cook, let cool and store in refrigerator. Then, just reheat when you’re ready for supper.

Tomato & Avocado Salad – This one is a no brainer. Just do a little chopping and tossing and you’re ready. Like many salads of this type, the longer it sits, the better it gets!

Strawberry Thumbprint Cookies – These cookies are so buttery and soft. They are made with fresh strawberry jam but if you are in a rush, just use store bought. This recipes comes together in no time so you can make a batch the evening before you serve them or right before dinner time.
