This week, I’m sharing four recipes that are in the “all time favorites” category as far as the men in my house are concerned. Mr. A Southern Soul and my youngest son love meatloaf. I mean, really LOVE meatloaf which means it’s on a pretty regular rotation around here. There is something truly satisfying about coming home after a busy day and digging into a dish that you absolutely adore. I think the perfect accompaniment to homemade meatloaf is my twice baked potato casserole. Meat and potatoes, well, they just belong together! I round out the meal with a fresh salad that’s loaded with fresh lettuces and fruit. My “pro-tip” for making a great salad is to visit the salad bar in the grocery store and pick up extra ingredients that you like in a salad. That way, you’re only buying what you need. The dressing for this salad my easy to make Poppy Seed Vinaigrette. It gives a nice bright flavor to the fruit in the salad. Last, but not least, I’ve got a simple, easy to make dessert. Yep, it’s also a favorite around here and these Honey Nut Marshmallow Treats disappear quickly. So, grab your shopping list and head to the store. You CAN make these recipes and create a family favorite meal all your own!
