Midweek Menu with marinated grilled pork chops, pineapple slaw, twice baked potato casserole and lemon cream brulee.

I am so ready to start grilling! There’s just something about food cooked on an open flame that brings out the best flavors. This week, I’ve pulled together four recipes that go together so well. They are a combination of sweet and savory with creamy and crunchy textures.

We’re starting out with marinated pork chops. I rarely cook pork chops but when I do, they must be cooked on the grill! I’m including my super simple marinade that I use on the chops and also on other meats, too. Instead of putting a salad along side the grilled pork, I’ve switched things up with the addition of Pineapple Slaw. The flavor of the sweet, crunchy slaw along with the smokey meat is a match made in heaven. To make this menu even more special, Twice Baked Potato Casserole is a dish that screams comfort. Last but not lease, Lemon Cream Brulee is a make ahead dessert that is sure to put a sweet finishing touch to the meal. Here’s to many more delicious meals shared with family and friends around the supper table!
