It’s time to gather, share, and raise a glass to the most wonderful time of the year. I have a little bounce in my step and Christmas carols are running through my head. And, I can’t wait to make some of my favorite Christmas appetizers.

“Winter-taning” is all about getting friends and family together to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. I like to keep things simple with foolproof recipes that I know everyone will love. I combine some make-ahead dishes with easy prep work to make sure that there’s less work in the kitchen and more entertaining happening!

A Few Of My Favorite Things

When I entertain, keeping things simple with a bit of flare is my style. Here are a few things that make it fun to host a gathering of any size and to do it with ease.

  • wooden boards that are used almost every day during the holidays.
  • dishwasher-safe wine glasses that can be used for any kind of beverage.

Hot Dips

Hot dips are one of my favorite things to serve at a party. You can make them ahead of time, then reheat and serve. All you need is your favorite cracker, toasted bread, or some cool dippers like carrots or celery to serve alongside.
