Planning ahead will be the key to making this menu stress-free! You can absolutely prepare all of these recipes on the same day you’d like to serve them, but you can also spread out the work to be more convenient for you!
The star of the menu is a slow cooker favorite! Start the Country Style Ribs in the morning and by supper time, you’ll have the main course done with very little effort. Add in a cheesy potato side dish, buttery carrots, and a fresh salad to make an over-the-top meal.
And, as a little something extra, add in a starter like Mexican Corn Dip with chips. Then finish dinner off with a dessert! Easy Apple Cake starts with a box mix and is super easy to make!

Now that we’ve got the menu, I want to give you another tool to help you be successful at cooking for yourself and your family.
I’ve made a one-page MENU PLANNER that you can download and print to log your target weekly recipes. Whether you are cooking a “theme” menu like Mexican or Italian, or have a recipe that uses chicken or beef, this helpful tool will make life easier.

My goal with Midweek Menu is to help you get a great meal on the table for your family with food that is delicious and recipes that are easy to make.
One of the ways to help you accomplish this is by sharing what I think are the best, helpful tools to make and serve the weekly menu. Here are some of my favorites and a few recommendations to make cooking fun!
- Wide Mouth Mason Jars // Cucumber and Onion Refrigerator Pickles
- Crock Pot // Crock Pot Country Style Pork Ribs
