Making a tasty weeknight meal has never been easier! Whether you’re in the mood for hearty comfort food or lighter flavorful recipes, you’re in luck because this menu has a bit of both. With a make-ahead appetizer, a homemade spaghetti sauce, a shortcut side dish, and a creamy chocolate dip for dessert, you’ll have everyone begging for seconds!

I have made various versions of this meal countless times throughout the years, and let me tell you it’s a family favorite! Anytime my boys are having a hard week, I whip out this Spaghetti Sauce recipe. Eventually, it got to the point where they just nicknamed it ‘Mama Sauce.’
This homemade spaghetti sauce is rich, flavorful, and filling, taking about an hour to make. I recommend starting on your sauce and then moving on to the Garlic Knots, which only take 20 minutes to bake. Since the sauce takes a little longer to cook, I like to pair it with a couple of make-ahead recipes.
Antipasto Skewers only take 15 minutes to prepare and have perfectly compatible flavors, plus you can make them at your convenience. As Chocolate Dip is a refrigerated recipe, it is the ideal make-ahead dessert for any meal. This light, creamy dip recipe is also super easy to double or triple, so you can make dessert for the whole week in one sitting!
