A slow cooked, crazy good pork roast, Instant Pot mashed potatoes, fruit salad that’s become famous and crock pot candy is what’s on the menu this week! Who’s hungry?
This week we are doing all our cooking in our slow cooker and instant pot. That may seem a little strange but if you think about, both of these kitchen appliances are super helpful and they free up so much valuable time. If used correctly, they also impart incredible flavor to inexpensive cuts of meat, which if you looking to save money, then a slow cooker can be your best friend. I recently invested in an Instant Pot and it’s proven to be well worth the cost. I’ve used it for eggs, chicken, a couple of stews and of course, this recipe for mashed potatoes. We’ve also got one of my favorite crock pot recipes, chocolate peanut candy! Of course, we’ve got to have some sort of salad and this one fits this menu perfectly. My “almost famous” fruit salad has been pinned thousands of times and I know you’ll love it. Even though the recipe makes a lot of fruit salad, you can cut it down easily to work for your family. Enjoy!
