Corn Dog Muffins, Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad, Spicy Pretzels and Mulled Cider make up this easy menu perfect for a fun night at home!
It’s Halloween and soon, the kiddos will be out and about trick or treating. At our house, we’ll be giving out some treats since the boys are long past the years of dressing up. Just the other day, we were all laughing about past Halloweens. My boys never got into the whole spooky thing and never really embraced dressing up. Instead, they liked to decorate a bit with pumpkins and greet the “littles” at door and hand out the candy. So, since we’re all homebodies around here, I thought this week’s menu should be full of easy to make make food that has a bit more of a fun vibe!
We start out this week with warm mulled cider, made in the crock pot. I love having my “hinged” Crock Pot sitting on the counter for night’s like tonight. I put out festive mugs and let everyone serve themselves. For a fun snack to go along with the cider, I love serving savory pretzels and cashews. Now, for the best part of the meal…corn dog bites. I am a huge fan of “pigs in a blanket” and this version using a boxed cornbread mix is crazy good! Last but not least, bacon ranch pasta salad is just what’s called for to round out the menu. Notice I didn’t include dessert this week and we know why, right? Enjoy the this week’s menu along with your favorite candy treat, friend!
