Over the years, I’ve built somewhat of a tradition in my kitchen. While I make dinner, I always have some sort of treat for my family to munch on. Sometimes it’s cheese and crackers or fruit and nuts. Nothing fancy, just something to stave off the hunger pangs until the “real food” hits this table. So, this week I’m kicking off the menu with a unique recipe that has a surprising ingredient. Dill Pickle Dip is a great appetizer served with fresh veggies or chips. What a fun way to settle down and get ready for time around the family table. For the main dish, I’m serving up one of the best pot roast recipes I’ve ever made. Irish Pot Roast has just a few ingredients yet they deliver big flavor and as an added bonus, it’s cooked in the Crock Pot. With all that incredible flavor of the pot roast, we’ve got to have something to soak up the juices! Penne Pasta and Broccoli is the ideal dish to do just that. Last but not least, we’re finishing with Hunter’s favorite cookie, Coconut Macaroons. A menu that’s full of foolproof recipes that are sure to become part of your family’s dinner traditions, too.
