This week, I’m pulling out all the stops and sharing a menu that is full of home cooked goodness. We are in the middle of summer and lately, the heat has been overwhelming here. Because of that, I’ve not had the energy or the desire do to any grilling. I want to stay inside where it’s cool but I’ve still got to feed the folks around here.

For my menu, I selected my main dish from my collection of crock pot recipes then added in a side dish using the Instant Pot. Using these helpful cooking tools saves me time and they don’t heat up the kitchen. The veggie dish takes very little cooking since it’s made on the stove top and the dessert takes a minimum amount of baking time. All four of these dishes can be made ahead of time if needed then just reheated when it’s time to serve them. This menu is definitely one that will be in my monthly rotation from now on!
