When it’s time to get a great home cooked meal on the table, Midweek Menu has what you need! An appetizer, fresh salad, main dish made on the grill or in the oven and a fruity dessert are recipes that are easy to prep, easy to make and totally delicious!
I am all about helpful short cuts when it comes to cooking and the four recipes in this week’s menu has them! Every one of these dishes can be prepped or totally made ahead of time. I’m one of those people who keeps a list, well, actually several lists at one time, and I like to stay as organized as possible. That’s one of the biggest driving factors when it comes to pulling together a meal for my family. I want to serve food that’s really good and flavorful, not too hard on my budget and simple to prepare. There are times when I want to spend time in the kitchen working on a recipe but when it comes to a week night meal, I want things straightforward and foolproof. That’s what’s happening this week!
Deviled Egg Dip is a great way to start out the meal. It’s a little something special folks can snack on while the grill or oven is heating up. The Tomato Cucumber Salad can be made the night before you want to serve it which means the flavors will be even better when it hits the supper table. There are two options for cooking the Sausage and Potato Foil Packs – in the oven or on the grill. Both are great and it just depends on what suits your fancy. Lemon Blueberry Poke Cake is the perfect way to end the meal. It’s full of fresh fruit flavor and can be made a day ahead of when you want to serve it. Now, it’s time to get cooking!
