School has started here and folks are super busy this week. I know what it’s like to feel a bit overwhelmed with work, along with worrying about your kids and wanting to carve out some time for the family around the supper table. When you’re going through that season of life, the last thing you want to do is stand over the stove and cook dinner. I’ve always cherished spending time with my family after a busy day, that’s why I’m passionate about coming up with ways to make my life easier and that’s how Midweek Menu was born.
This week’s menu features four recipes that will please even the pickiest eater at the table. The Asian inspired broccoli slaw is packed with sweet and savory flavors and delivers a powerful crunch. The main dish, Sweet and Savory Ham is made in the slow cooker, saving time and money since they’ll be leftovers for sandwiches the next day. Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes, made in fifteen minutes or less are always a favorite. Top the whole meal off with a “store bought shortcut” strawberry pie that you can make the night before.
