This week’s menu is one of my “go-to” line ups when it’s time to show some love. When folks are going through stressful times, I’ve found one of the best ways to help them out is to cook them a meal or share a special dish. It might be when a new baby arrives and the parents are too tired to cook or when a friend is recovering from an illness. Taking someone food is a long-standing tradition in my family and I’ve found it’s one of the best ways I can show someone how much I care about them.
The four recipes this week are simple to make. When they’re served together, they make a meal that outstanding. Fresh greens are tossed with My Favorite Vinaigrette. It’s a dressing that’s always in my fridge for salads and veggies. The star of the menu is Out of this World Baked Spaghetti. It’s a make-ahead dish that can be split in half to serve your own family or some friends. The Parmesan Cheese Straws made with a puffed pastry are totally addictive. Finishing off the line up is Old Fashioned Caramel Snack Cake that’s a classic Southern recipe. Now, let’s get cooking!
