Who’s ready to dive into a meal that’s easy to make and totally delicious? I am! Midweek Menu #87 has four mouthwatering, budget-friendly recipes that will take the guesswork out of what to feed your family.
When it comes to deciding what to cook for dinner, I like to get some help from those who’ll be sitting around the table. I often send out “feelers” to my family with a question like “what are you craving right now?” Or it could be as simple as “what do you want for dinner?”
That’s how this menu came together. Mr. SS and Hunter, our youngest, LOVE meatloaf. I often laugh when I ask them what they want to eat because I know one of them will say meatloaf. To be fair, I really like it too so I’m happy to oblige in making it.
With the cornerstone of this week’s Midweek Menu set, I’m adding in three other recipes that can be made with simple ingredients. We are all working hard to plan our meals and stretch our budgets these days which means being a bit more creative in the kitchen. This yummy meal includes a fresh salad made with just 7 ingredients, buttery mashed potatoes, and a fruity skillet pie. All that’s needed is your family gathered around the table to enjoy the food and each other!
