Easy Cranberry Orange Quick Bread

Easy Cranberry Orange Quick Bread, with fresh cranberries, orange zest, and Southern pecans, is outrageously delicious! This recipe is a crowd-pleaser that’s the perfect addition to any holiday menu.

Whisk the flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, and nutmeg in a large bowl.


Whisk egg, brown sugar, oil, zest, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth. Add buttermilk and whisk.


Add wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined – do not overmix.


Once the batter is mixed, fold in the cranberries and chopped pecans.


Pour batter into a loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.


Let the cranberry orange quick bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn it out to a wire rack to finish cooling.


Optional: Mix powdered sugar and orange juice together until smooth, then drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
