Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie

- Butter - Salt - Eggs - Brown Sugar - Maple Syrup - Bourbon - Vanilla - Pecans - Flakey Sea Salt


Place pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 3-4 minutes at 350 until brown. Remove from oven and let cool.


Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in sugar and syrup. Simmer, then remove from heat. Cool for 10 minutes.


Whisk eggs into the mixture. Whisk in bourbon, vanilla, and salt. Pour mixture into uncooked pie shell.


Place pecans on top. Place pie on a baking sheet. Lightly spray a piece of foil with cooking spray and place over pie.


Bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil, bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are set. The pie's center will look jiggly.


Remove the maple bourbon pecan pie from oven and place on a wire rack to cool. It's best served at room temp.
