Pico de Gallo is a delicious combination of fresh tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and lime juice and made in just 10 minutes! It's perfect for dipping, as a topping, or whenever you want to add a flavorful kick to your favorite foods.
In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, minced jalapeno pepper, and chopped cilantro.
Squeeze the juice of the lime over the mixture. Sprinkle with salt if desired.
Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Cover and let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Serve with chips or spooned over your favorite Mexican dishes or grilled meats and veggies.

To Make Less Spicy
Make the pico de gallo less spicy by prepping the jalapeño peppers. Remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeño pepper. They are the spiciest parts of the pepper. You can leave them out altogether if you don't care for a spicy flavor.
