– Kosher Salt
– Dijon Mustard
– Onion Powder
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Line a deep baking dish with foil. Unwrap the ham and discard the glaze packet. Place ham in the baking dish.
Prep the Ham
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, honey, and Dijon mustard. Spoon the mixture over in between the slices.
Flip the ham to cut side down and cover in foil. Bake for 13 minutes per pound or until temp reads 140 degrees.
Bake the Ham
In a bowl, combine sugar and spices. Remove foil from the ham and turn it on its side. Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture over the ham. Set the oven to broil and place ham in oven until the sugar has caramelized.
Prep the Sugar
Add the remaining sugar and 3 to 4 tablespoons of the ham juices from the pan to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until thick. Brush the glaze over the ham.
Make the Glaze
Place back under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until the edges are crispy and the glaze in a dark golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the ham rest for 10 minutes before serving.
