Instructions
To a stockpot, add milk and water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and slowly pour in grits while stirring. Add salt and simmer grits, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes until they are thick and creamy.
Turn off the heat and add pimento cheese and pepper. Stir until combined.
Spoon into a serving bowl and top with green onions, if desired. Serve immediately. Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 5 days.
