Place butter in a mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat butter until it is softer and creamy.
Add the remaining ingredients for chosen flavored butter, mix the ingredients together until well combined.
Spoon herb butter onto sheet of plastic wrap, making sure to keep it in the center. Roll the plastic wrap around the butter, forming a cylinder .
Twist the ends of the plastic wrapped butter tightly, then place it in the fridge to chill for at least an hour. Once butter is chilled and solid, you can serve.
