Meal Prep & Leftover Tips

Air Fryer Baked Potatoes: Russet potatoes, also known as Idaho potatoes, are best for baking. Once baked, they will have a soft and fluffy center. Ensure all your potatoes are the same size so they cook evenly.

Sweet Potatoes cooked perfectly in the Air Fryer then seasoned with salt and cinnamon sugar along with butter is an amazing easy to make side dish.

Air Fryer Baked Sweet Potatoes: Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket – cook fries in a single layer to avoid sticking together. You may need to cook the sweet potatoes in batches.

Southern Soul Award Winning Chili in a stock pot with ladle and jalapeno peppers.

Southern Soul Chili: Chili is even better the next day. Store it in the fridge overnight and reheat before serving—those flavors will have married beautifully.

Crock Pot with cooked pulled pork that has been shredded with two forks.

Crock Pot Pulled Pork: Leftover pulled pork will stay fresh in sealed, airtight containers in the refrigerator for 3–4 days. Reheat, on the stove top on low or in the microwave until heated through.

Large white bowl with Beer Cheese Dip topped with green onions served with sausage and pretzels.

Crock Pot Beer Cheese: Pre-shredded cheeses have additives that keep them from sticking in the bag, so grate your own cheese for the best flavor and texture.

Freshed jalapenos cooked with sugar, spices and just the right amount of seasoning are turned into an irresistible dish that's perfect for burgers, dogs, salads, sandwiches and appetizers.

Candied Jalapeños: Make a double batch of these jalapeños (they’re seriously that good) and spoon some over a brick of cream cheese and eat with tortilla chips or crackers for an irresistible snack or appetizer.

Beefy meatballs, cooked low and slow in the Crock Pot in a sauce made with BBQ sauce, apricot preserves and whole grain mustard are perfect for game day!

Game Day Meatballs: Frozen meatballs work great in this recipe, and there’s no need to thaw them. I used regular BBQ sauce for these meatballs. Just pick whichever sauce you like.

Crescent roll pigs in a blanket in a serving dish and small places served for as an appetizer with toothpicks.

Crescent Roll Pigs In A Blanket: Serve these up with the Carolina BBQ sauce you made for you baked potato bar.
