Meal Prep & Leftover Tips

Baked Spaghetti: You can assemble the casserole the night before or the morning of and refrigerate. Just pop it in the oven for dinner—no stress, no fuss!

Everyday Green Salad is fresh, easy to make, with tomatoes, lettuce and onion. It's the best recipe that's simple and delicious.

Easy Green Salad: For the BEST flavor, season all the ingredients with kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper BEFORE drizzling on the dressing.

Dinner rolls made with garlic, butter and Parmesan cheese made from store bought rolls made in a cast iron skillet.

Garlic Parmesan Skillet Rolls: There’s very little prep since we are not making homemade dough with yeast and flour. Just thaw the dough, melt the butter, toss in the cheese and herbs, then bake.

Lemon Creme Brulee is creamy, light and perfectly baked with a sugar topping that's amazing to crack into!

Lemon Crème Brûlée: Can be made up to 2 days in advance. Cover the ramekins and keep them in the refrigerator. Sprinkle on the sugar and heat with a torch just before serving.

Avocado Chicken Salad: To store, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the salad before sealing it in an airtight container. If I’m making it more than a day ahead, I usually wait to add the avocado until right before serving for the best texture.

Ham Salad with celery and pickles in a bowl with crackers on the side.

Southern Ham Salad: Switch out the sweet pickles for dill pickles, add chopped green onions or other fresh herbs like parsley or chives, toss in some bell pepper, and add a bit of Dijon mustard or horseradish sauce.

Caprese Pasta Salad: To make ahead of time, cook the pasta and mix everything except the fresh basil and some of the dressing. Cover and refrigerate. Add the fresh basil and a little extra dressing right before serving.

Sausage cheese bread cut into slices on top of a cutting board.

Sausage Cheese Bread: You can use turkey or chicken sausage for a lower-fat version of this quick bread. For a veggie twist, add spinach, fresh parsley, basil, or rosemary to the sausage bread.
