Meal Prep & Leftover Tips

Crock Pot Guinness Pot Roast: To replace the Guinness you can substitute non-alcoholic beer or beef broth or mix broth with balsamic vinegar for depth.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts: For the best flavor and texture, choose fresh Brussels sprouts that are bright green and firm to the touch.

Easy Roasted Broccoli: By cooking the broccoli at a high temperature, the broccoli tips and edges get caramelized and slightly charred.

Garlic Parmesan Skillet Rolls: If you don’t have a cast-iron skillet, you can use a baking dish instead. They can be prepared ahead of time and reheated in the oven before serving.

Glazed Orange Muffins: To get that perfect dome on the muffins, bake the muffins at 425°F for 5 minutes, THEN LOWER TEMPERATURE TO 375°F and bake for another 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

Egg Salad Sandwiches: This classic egg salad will last in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Grab some pre-made croissants, and you’ll have easy lunches to get you through the week.

Crock Pot Turkey Stock: Follow the same directions for making chicken stock to make Turkey stock.

Turkey Noodle Soup: This soup uses ingredients you’ll most likely have leftover from Thanksgiving—turkey, onions, celery, and carrots in your homemade turkey stock.
