Watermelon Cooler Cocktail is the perfect summer sipper! A refreshing drink, with or without tequila to enjoy at any summer party, BBQ or when you’re relaxing while watching the sun set.
One of the best parts of summer is enjoying a sweet, ripe watermelon. When I was a little girl and spent summer days with my Grandmother, there was always a watermelon sitting underneath the shade tree in the backyard. There was always great anticipation about when she’d cut into that big, round beauty. She’d thump it hear and there to make sure it was at the peak of ripeness so we’d be able to enjoy each bite to the fullest. Now, I go through the same routine, except instead of keeping my melon under a shade tree to keep it cool, I store mine in the fridge. It’s just a little change but all of the special memories of my childhood are still vivid in my mind.
This year, I decided to give my watermelon a little bit of upgrade and turned it into a thirst-quenching drink that’s ideal for a hot summer’s day. Watermelon Cooler Cocktail is fresh, bright and so easy to make since it has less than five ingredients. It’s pretty, bright red color also makes is hard to resist. This drink is great for parties or when you’re entertaining. As an added bonus, you can make it non-alcoholic for those who don’t care for liquor or for serving to kids that way everyone can enjoy the sweet, fresh flavor of this drink.
