  • 2 28 ounce cans baked beans (do not drain)
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 5 slices bacon – chopped (I used my precooked bacon but you can use uncooked just cut into small pieces)
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion

  • To the bowl of a slow cooker, add beans, ketchup, BBQ sauce, sugar, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped onion, chopped bacon, and garlic powder. Stir to combine, then place the lid on the slow cooker.

    Super simple to make. I did saute the onions in bacon grease before adding to the crock pot. I like my beans to have a slight smokiness to them. My BBQ sauce was not a Hickory Smoked favored, so I added a splash of liquid smoke. Great way to make Baked Beans without heating up your kitchen.
