Ever heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Well, if you are a believer in that, then listen up. I’m giving you a flavor explosion recipe that’s an excellent way to start the day.

I have been searching for ways to add more protein to my morning meal. Do I love smoothies? Yes. Am I tired of them? Totally. So, here’s how I’ve overcome a boring, bland way to start the day. A Breakfast Burrito Bowl.

Perfect Way To Start Your Day

With components like brown rice, black beans, peppers, and onions, it’s not just a quick and easy meal but also a great meal prep breakfast option, freezer-friendly for those busy mornings. This Mexican Burrito Bowl recipe adds a deliciously different twist to traditional breakfast bowls, making your morning meal anything but ordinary.

How To Fry An Egg

Here’s my way of making over-easy or over-hard eggs:

  • In a large skillet, melt two tablespoons of butter on medium heat.
  • One at a time, crack the eggs and gently place them in the pan. Turn down the heat to low.
  • Cook until whites are set and yolks thicken. For over-hard eggs, carefully flip the egg and cook until the yolks are firm. Remove from pan and sprinkle with salt.

A good burrito bowl has a balance of proteins, vegetables, and carbs. Mix and match ingredients to suit your preferences but ensure a good balance for a nutritious meal.

Keep It Colorful

A colorful burrito bowl is not only visually appealing but also ensures you’re getting a wide range of nutrients. Use brightly colored vegetables like bell peppers, tomatoes, and corn to make your bowl pop.

Combining crunchy veggies with creamy avocado, fluffy rice, and juicy protein can make your bowl more enjoyable.
