We’ve officially entered the “ber” months of the year, and I’m thrilled! I love fall, the change of seasons, and the holidays. I’ve channeled most of my excitement into coming up with lots of new seasonal dessert recipes for my family and for A Southern Soul. It’s truly a labor of love to share a new recipe, especially my Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip, 3-Ingredient Fruit Dip, and this one!
Chocolate Fruit Dip is a splurge-worthy dessert that you are going to LOVE. The best part is that it only takes 5 ingredients and is ready in just 15 minutes, making it perfect for last-minute get-togethers or cravings all year round!
Ingredients For Easy Chocolate Dip
- Sugar & Sweet: We will melt chocolate chips and add powdered sugar to maintain a smooth texture for the rich chocolate flavor.
- The Creamy: You’ll need softened cream cheese and a little heavy cream to get that ultra-smooth texture.
- Vanilla: For the best flavor, try to use pure vanilla extract. Imitation vanilla is quite mild, so you may need more extract.

- Finish up by mixing everything together with a splash of vanilla, and you’re ready to serve.
Donya’s Success Tip
To soften the cream cheese, keep it in the foil wrapper and place it in a bowl of warm water for about 10–15 minutes until it’s soft and ready to use in the recipe.

How To Serve Dessert Dip
Chocolate Dip really is the party dip to serve on any occasion. It can be enjoyed as an afternoon snack for kids, during holiday parties and birthday celebrations, or movie or game nights. I love serving it on a larger platter with fruit and cookies on one side and then a savory dip like my Southwest Ranch Dip on the other with dippers like salami chips and veggies.
