When the calendar flips to December, my heart gets full, and I get a big smile on my face. It always brings back some of my favorite family memories—baking cookies, playing cards, watching Elf, and building Samaritan’s Purse shoeboxes together. If your town has a tree-lighting, parade, or special Christmas event, add one of those in when you can—but keep it easy and relaxed.
