I am so excited to share my Thanksgiving menu with you! Even though I probably say that every year, this time I feel a bit more inspired and happy about my family gathering around the table.
I’m pulling out all the stops with the recipes that my family loves most. On this menu, many of these recipes are make-ahead dishes that will save me time in the kitchen on the big day, which is something to really be thankful for.
I’ve also included a few new creations to add to my classic, Southern menu. All of these recipes are ones that everyone will be happy to see on the table, and ones that I can’t wait to make for the people I love most.

Appetizers And Starters
We are getting the celebration started with 4 great recipes that can ALL be made ahead of time!
Easy Side Dishes
We all know that side dishes really are everyone’s favorite thing about Thanksgiving, right? Well, that’s how it is at my house, so I make sure to serve my tried and true recipes that always get rave reviews.
Main Dishes
This year, the star of the table is a glazed ham. I’m also pulling out my airy fryer to make the BEST roasted turkey breast that I know everyone will love. As a bonus, we’ll have great turkey sandwiches with the leftovers.
You’ve got to have cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving, and my recipe for homemade Orange Cranberry Sauce is super simple to make.
Here’s a tip…make it on Monday before the holiday and keep it stored covered in the refrigerator. The flavors will blend together, and you’ve got another recipe done for the big day!
Desserts
To finish off our family feast, I’m serving two make-ahead pie recipes. I’m also adding in a retro recipe that doubles as a side dish and dessert.
No pie is complete with whipped cream. My easy method for making homemade whipped cream will become your go-to recipe after just one bite.
How Much Should I Make?
For my family of 6, plus a few friends, I prepare 2 salads and 4 side dishes. Now, of course, there’s no perfect number of sides to prepare. It really depends on what your family likes and how many people you are feeding. A good rule of thumb for serving size per person is 1 to 1-½ cups per person.
