This is one of those recipes that was made for the air fryer. If you’re new to using one or looking for a simple dish that delivers juicy, tender pork with a caramelized crust, this is it!
What Makes This Pork Tenderloin Irresistible:
- Big, Bold Flavors – Each bite is infused with a sweet and savory marinade that’s perfectly balanced with fresh herbs, rich honey, and a little heat from red pepper.
- Minimal Effort, Maximum Results – You don’t have to be a master chef to nail this. With just a handful of ingredients and quick prep, you’ll have an air fryer meal that tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen but never turned on the oven.
- Juicy & Tender Every Time – My marinade and air-frying produce a perfectly cooked tenderloin that’s juicy on the inside and slightly crisp on the exterior in every slice.
Simple Ingredients You’ll Need
- A pork tenderloin of about 1 to 1 ½ pounds fits perfectly in a standard air fryer basket.
- For the marinade, you’ll need balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic cloves, Worcheschire sauce, honey, salt, red pepper flakes, rosemary, and thyme.
How To Prep Pork Tenderloin
One of the most tender, lean cuts of meat is pork tenderloin, but it still needs to be prepped before cooking. Pat the pork dry and remove the silver skin—a tough, shiny membrane on the side. Just slip a sharp knife under one end, then gently pull it away while cutting it off.
Make It Your Own: Recipe Variations
- You can use brown sugar in place of honey.
- A low-sodium soy sauce will work if you don’t have Worceschire sauce.
- Dijon mustard, black pepper, and chili paste are also great additions to the marinade.
How To Cook Pork Tenderloin In An Air Fryer
- Prepare The Pork: Remove the silver skin and pat the pork dry. Then, transfer the pork to a baking dish.
- Make The Marinade: In a small bowl, add the dry ingredients.
- Marinate The Pork: Add the wet ingredients to the dry and pour the mixture over the pork. Let the pork marinate at room temperature for at least 15 minutes (or up to 30 minutes), or cover and refrigerate for up to 1 day. When ready to cook, let the pork come to room temperature first.
- Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Add the pork to the air fryer and air fry for 11 to 14 minutes. The pork is done when an instant-read thermometer measures the internal temperature of 145°F at the meat’s center. Let it rest for 3-5 minutes before slicing so that the juice stay in the meat.
What If My Pork Doesn’t Fit In the Air Fryer Basket?
If it’s too large, cut the tenderloin in half crosswise, then place it in the basket in two pieces, side by side. If doing this, check the internal temperature 2 minutes early.
Frequently Asked Questions

Leftover pork tenderloin can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days. It can then be reheated in the oven, air fryer, or microwave.
You can use 2 teaspoon garlic powder, but the flavor won’t be as strong. I highly recommend fresh if you can.
What To Serve With Juicy Herb Pork Tenderloin
When serving this pork loin, I love to pair it with Mushroom Rice, Brown Butter Butternut Squash, or Honey Glazed Carrots. And don’t forget a side of Garlic Parmesan Skillet Rolls (one of my family’s all-time favorite side dishes!) When entertaining, this main dish is terrific served with Scalloped Potatoes and Southern Green Beans.
